It took me a long time to come up with this recipe. Unfortunately, my hot dog is not as good as the one Gus made for years. But when something is perfect, it almost impossible to make it any better.
Now I’m going to show you how to make a delicious hot dog. After you see this, you will think of a hot dog as a delicacy, instead of something you eat at the ball game. [Read more…]
One of my favorite TV shows on the TV Food Network is, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, with Guy Fieri. I think it’s kind of funny to watch how Guy literally gulps down those high calorie foods prepared by the owners of the various restaurants he visits. I sometimes wonder what his cholesterol is. Realistically, I don’t think he eats that much when he does the show. If you notice, he eats when he is on camera. When off camera, my guess is, he probably does not eat. Guy has to make the show entertaining. Actually, when I think of Guy Fieri, I think of someone who is a world class chef. But what I see on the show, I use to my advantage. I carefully watch these chefs prepare the food, and then try preparing the same recipes in my kitchen. I’ve had some amazing results. [Read more…]

I hope everyone had a Very Merry Christmas. As you can see, it’s not quite over for my husband my family and my self. This is what’s going one, at this very minute, even as I write this.
